Introduction to Week 2

This weeks theme explores social planning for wellbeing at various levels in various different sectors and kinds of organization.

Welcome to week two. This week, we’ll be shifting our attention towards collaborative planning for well-being. We’ll be looking at how well-being themes can be explicitly incorporated into plans for different parts of society, and at various different levels in various kinds of sector. We’ll be exploring how well-being approaches can improve social planning by ensuring that when people and organisations define their objectives, when they take decisions, that they show clear links between social goods and personal well-being. After that, we’ll be looking at well-being approaches as they’re incorporated into various fields of practise, such as consumption, business strategies, and government planning.

And by the end of week two, we hope that you’ll be much better able to discuss the merits but also the challenges of applying well-being frameworks to real life situations.

By the end of this week you should have improved your ability to apply wellbeing frameworks to real-life situations.
