Meet the team

Meet the team that will be supporting you through this course.
Portraits of each of the eight team members named below, in a collage.

Throughout this course, you’ll be able to post comments and questions on each step, and we’ll be reading and answering them regularly. Here are some of the people you will hear from!

Philip Harney

Philip makes educational content at the CoderDojo Foundation, producing projects for young people to work on as well as guides and courses for volunteers. He has been a mentor and champion at several Dojos since 2012. He plays board games and listens to far too many podcasts.

Vanessa Greene

Vanessa is the Community Support and Experience Coordinator for the CoderDojo Foundation. Day-to-day she can be found helping people start their own Dojo and helping the global CoderDojo Community. In her spare time, she can be found making videos, running events and volunteering at her local Dojo.

Helen Vallance

Helen is our administrator at CoderDojo and looks after our champion & mentor vetting for the Republic of Ireland. She is passionate about introducing and supporting youngsters in the pursuit of learning the art of coding and is delighted to help you on your journey to complete the same. Helen loves cooking and a bit of decorating and fixing when not running around after her toddler.

Vasu

Vasu engages primarily with the Raspberry Pi club communities in India, including CoderDojo. She has been working in the education sector for more than five years and now explores the integration of technology and education in India. She follows world politics closely and is an activist at heart. She loves poetry, sports, and stationery!
