Real researcher voices – Dr Emma Healey

In this video, Dr Emma Healey of Keele University talks about her own journey into becoming a researcher.

In these next few steps you will hear from different health and care professionals about their pathways into research.

The various stories you will hear show that there are all sorts of ways to start incorporating research into your role and that it can be different for everyone. While you listen to these videos and audios, think about which stories you can relate to most and what you can learn from their experiences

Dr Emma Healey is a Senior Research Fellow: Applied Health Research at Keele University. In this video Emma talks about her:

Emma talks about the different types of research she has worked on including qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods. Don’t worry if you aren’t familiar with these terms yet, you will be learning about these in the next week of the course.
