Welcome to the course
Welcome to this course on supporting safe and effective medicines management for older people with sensory impairment. This course was developed for Health and Social Care Professionals (HSCPs) but will also be useful for older people with sensory impairment, people who support them or anyone else with an interest in these topics. Over the next four weeks, we will be looking at the challenges older people with sensory impairment might have and possible solutions to improving their care. Three characters, Alicia, George and Caroline feature throughout the course to illustrate findings from our research and the practical application of strategies and resources available to address their needs.
