Let’s put everything you’ve learnt so far together and have a go at answering a question you may be asked at a university interview!

Below we’ve given you a choice of questions that could be similar to ones you may be asked in a university interview. We haven’t lifted these straight from any particular course so don’t always expect to be asked these when it comes to the real thing! Use the previous steps to answer one of the questions, ensuring you think about the content, structure and how your experiences align carefully. Write your answer in the discussion below, and feel free to kindly and constructively comment on other answers from your peers.

  • Why did you decide to apply to [university of your choice]?
  • Why do you want to study [course of your choice]?
  • What practical experience have you gained and how would this be relevant for [course of your choice]?
  • Tell me about a time you had to solve a problem.
  • Tell me about a current issue [within a course of your choice] and what your thoughts are on it.

Remember, write your answer in the discussion below, and feel free to kindly and constructively comment on other answers from your peers
