Golden rules

  • SiD is a framework designed for intensive co-creation. Make the most out of this course by making meaningful connections with other learners through the discussion. Engage in conversation, exchange views on the content of the course, and bring it to life through your knowledge and experience. We also welcome you to connect outside of the course.

  • To integrate your learning experience, many of the steps feature printable materials, downloadable resources, and interesting links. These range from our custom-made materials (marked by numbers) to articles, videos, and resources from the systems thinking field. Make sure you download the documents, and check out the links. Keep them so you can go back as you learn, and once you are done.

  • Be sure to keep papers, pens, pencils, and markers at hand during the course. Some activities invite you to unleash your creativity, so these tools will come in handy.

  • The SiD Theory equips you with a different way of looking at the world around you. Try to use the concepts you’re learning in your everyday life, for example, when you read the news or go for a walk. Engage in conversations with colleagues and peers. Practicing is the best way to improve your understanding.

Your feedback is very important for us to make this course better and better. Be sure to spare a moment for an earnest assessment at the end of each week.
