Try and answer the question 'Why me?' to understand why a customer should work with you.

Welcome to week 3!

This week you will consider the relationship between value, experience, and charging for your services. You will explore the real cost of living, and learn how to calculate your expenses.

Valuing yourself is an important consideration for every freelancer. In this video, Alison has joined us to share the five factors that you should take into account.

  1. Value: based on your living budget
  2. Your level of experience
  3. Benchmarking: what do others earn for this work?
  4. Industry sector variations
  5. The intended market for your work
