Case Study: Fred

Catch up with Fred again and observe events and changes. How has your understanding of trauma changed since last week?

This case study follows the life of Fred.

Let’s follow Fred and his younger brother, Josh, to understand how their experiences shape their patterns of reacting, relating, and responding. Fred and Josh (now in their 30s) are at their annual family get-together when we see them this week.

Watch and share

Watch the animation and think about how you could apply what you have learned so far in the course to Fred and Josh’s experiences. See below for some examples to get you started and share your reflections in the comments.
