In Week 2 of ‘Placemaking and Public Space Design: Unlocking Design Potential’, we will focus on understanding the effects of ‘wind’ on public space.

We will start by looking at the background of ‘wind’ analysis and its development. We will also explore common conditions created by the wind and the tools available to depict the common winds in a place. In later Steps, you will use computer modelling and create wind simulations.
