Ico Broekhuizen

Ico Broekhuizen

Ico Broekhuizen is an Associate Senior Lecturer at Luleå University of Technology, teaching in a number of different courses at LTU, and is the programme director for the MSc programme in Water and Environmental Engineering. His main research topic is the modelling of urban drainage systems with a special focus on green infrastructure and its representation in models of larger urban drainage systems. He is passionate about contributing with his knowledge to make the cities of the future safer and more environmentally friendly.

Kelsey Flanagan

Kelsey Flanagan

Kelsey Flanagan is an Assistant Lecturer at Luleå University of Technology, conducting research about architecture and water and teaching in a number of courses. Her main research interest is within developing sustainable systems for urban stormwater management. Her research also expands into organic contamination and metals as well as the use of sensors for continous monitoring of water quality. She hopes to help improve the collective understanding of water contamination so that we can make better and more sustainable designs for the future.

Godecke-Tobias Blecken

Godecke-Tobias Blecken

Godecke is a Professor in Sanitary Engineering at Luleå University of Technology, conducting research about urban daywater. He has also done extensive research within daywater management, water quality and its effect on the natural environment. An important part of his work is finding out more about the technical function of daywater in different climates and how to adapt our technologies to match. Godecke hopes to continue making significant contributions to the green infrastructure of the future.
