Ben gets some fluid

dehydration

That little tube down the arms are just to give him any medication we need to give him, just in case. What I would like to do is give him what we call a bolus of fluid to try and help his condition at the moment. That sounds fine. Just remind me how old is he again? He is 4. Ok so age x 4, so that’s 16. So we need 20ml per kilo for medicals, 320 ml of fluid would be great if you don’t mind. That’ll be fantastic. We’re just trying to withdraw some so we can give him a specific amount. Ben don’t fiddle with that… Don’t touch that. Then you’ll feel a bit better hopefully. Can you open it?
