Why is Kepler’s third law called the law of harmonies?

Kepler dubbed this third law ‘harmonic’ as it describes the harmonious relationship between distance and time in planetary orbits. His third law was published in 1619’s Harmonices Mundi, a full ten years after the publication of his first two laws in Astronomia Nova.
