Kerry Houchen to speak at EDULEARN19
FutureLearn’s Director of Online Degrees, Kerry Houchen, will speak at EDULEARN19 at the Palma Convention Centre in Spain on 2 July 2019.
EDULEARN19 will be the 11th annual International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies, bringing together more than 800 experts from 80 countries to share knowledge on teaching and learning methodologies and educational innovations.
Kerry will be part of the ‘Internships and Workplace Learning’ session and will discuss How microcredentials can futureproof us against the changing realities of the workplace.
She will speak about the impact of new technologies and the pressing need for continued professional development, bringing in some key findings from independent research commissioned by FutureLearn.
She will pose microcredentials as a potential solution to the widening skills gaps across various industries and consider the ways in which stackable, transferable courses meet the needs of employers and employees in the modern workplace.
