Matt Walton speaks at Mind the Product’s Leadership Forum

Matt Walton, Chief Product Officer at FutureLearn joins a panel discussion on Developing & Empowering Product Teams at today’s Mind the Product London 2017 Leadership Forum, an invite-only event for those in the product leadership space.

Mind the Product is an international product community. Started in 2010 with the very first ProductTank meetup in London and followed by the Mind the Product Conference in 2012, it has now grown to consist of over 50,000 members and sold out events in 100+ cities around the world.

Today’s Leadership Forum is the first pre-conference event exclusively for product leaders, where they can talk about the unique challenges of product strategy, building and leading product teams, and all the other stuff that gets product people excited.

Matt is a digital product leader who likes to improve the world by making useful things. He’s one of the founding team and the Chief Product Officer at FutureLearn, the social learning company whose purpose is to help everyone fulfil their potential in a changing world, by transforming access to education. As Chief Product Officer, Matt is responsible for the overall vision and direction for the product and leading the team to deliver it.

He’s passionate about lean and agile product development and how disruptive technology can be used to make the world a better place. In the past, he’s led the development of innovative websites, apps and digital products for the likes of the BBC, Harper Collins and BSkyB. He is also an active member of London’s growing product management community, and a regular speaker at events such as this one.
