  • In Tanzania we have such kind of building sites with unsafe practices and most of them are found in villages and peripheral areas of the cities at which the law enforcers are not much found for frequent inspections and the available local administrators (street leaders) have low skills and knowledge about occupation Health and Hazards.

  • knowing the specific Acts or Laws and regulations helps much when dealing with the employer or any body of authority,we need more efforts to let our fellow workers know,we still have some challenges on how to make them know.

  • I agree this is might be due to the facts that the employer is responsible to handle and compensate the worker when affected, so it non beneficial to them,most of them are looking for addition math(+)

  • Political will is real a high mountain to climb when it comes about the agreed implementation measures to safeguard and protect the workers as well as to compensations when a worker is affected at work,the Acts and regulations are not well known to most of the workers leading to delay or/and even not to get their benefits from it.
