  • As per my knowledge, one of the very important things is to avoid repetition while you're talking and keep your ideas organized. Try using good vocabulary. And your accent and pronunciation also probably matters.

  • Hi! I'm from Pakistan and preparing for IELTS to be eligible for PhD admissions at Monash University Australia. My dream job would be to teach at University of Melbourne as a professor someday. I'm majoring in psychology. Looking forward to a great learning experience here and a bright future there!

  • It was a very good experience and great exposure. Really liked the approach of peer. It was 10x better structured than mine. Got to learn a lot from it on how to structure stuff.

  • Ah I got it, found the pdf example, Thank you!

  • What kind of stuff should we put in the Network section? I'm having a bit of trouble here. Does it have to do with the kind of people I'm going to network with like academic network and connections, professional or personal etc. or target audience ?

  • Unsplash is also another good public domain for free images

  • Cultivating a growing mindset is actually very important for life satisfaction and psychological wellbeing as well. Do not cultivate a growing mind in just financial terms as in learn to earn. There are many people who are better driven by intrinsic motivation and rewards like the satisfaction that comes from personal cognitive growth or learning. Learning not...

  • this feels so motivating inspiring and empowering

  • As I'm basically a researcher and a psychologist so it falls under the first one as well as process and analysis I believe

  • How do we submit the assignment?

I think I'd do best on psychometric tests as I have a hands-on experience with those

  • Oh I never thought about taking an initiative before if the employer doesn't get back to me after interview I consider it as a straight rejection

  • A very informative and beneficial article

  • I do have a digital portfolio that I made using wix but it haven't really helped me even once jn my hunt for a job as my field isn't creative and it's more like academic. I was thinking about starting a blog though as I work as a freelance content writer as well. In Pakistan, digital portfolios aren't much in yet as per my observation and experience.

  • An academic CV would suit me for my career in academic field of course as I'm a visiting lecturer. And a skill based one would suit me for my role of a content writer.

  • Now a lot of people are more into online shopping and getting everything at their doorstep. In order to let them know that you also exist in the industry and reach your target population, social media is an excellent and I believe comparatively less expensive (for everyone's access) platform. Majority of people spend a good deal of their day online....

  • I'm from Pakistan, an educator as well as an experienced content writer (home-based). I love telecommuting and have observed that companies and entrepreneurs who require services from content writers for their on-site content often also seek experts who'd manage company's online presence. I have often been asked if I hold any such skills of social media...

    I observed that three themes are common in most of the answers;
    1. Deception
    2. Gain
    3. Money

Although fraud may involve other stuff as well. One statement that interested me was identity theft. Any comments on identity theft which doesn't involve money?

  • HI, I'm from Pakistan. I'm an educator as well as a researcher specializing in forensic psychology. My main motivation to join this course was to gain exposure to how fraud is investigated practically specifically in foreign legal systems but now having watched the introductory video I feel way more excited that I'm going to be learning new things. Also, I've...

  • I'm a visiting lecturer at University, very much interested in grooming my teaching skills. Never done animation or film-making before but have always been interested in it. I've never studied from a teacher who uses animations and visual infographics to educate. I used infographics and clearly observed my students developing their interest in classroom...

  • The most important thing I've learned this week is that I should really start networking specifically digital networking and stay more in touch with my University.
My goal for next two weeks would be to groom myself gradually and be more active and start networking as it would pace up my exposure and learning I believe. No doubt my first step and a very good...

  • I use job websites and portals very often and I have had good experience with Indeed.com indeed!

  • I haven't contacted career service yet but I will after the university gets reopened which is currently closed due to corona pandemic.

  • No special support from my university for usual graduates, however, I'm a gold medalist and my university likes to keep its treasure so they gave me a semester to teach course to undergraduates right after my M.Phil. but now again I have nothing to do for now as the semester has been completed and no support from university, there is no placement cell either...

Volunteering activities are quite easy to find in our country as most employers are entrepreneurs and not willing to give anything but an experience certificate for entering your field of choice as a fresh graduate. There aren't many opportunities for fresh graduates other than unpaid internships or volunteer work for learning. People suffer from unemployment...

  • I have worked as visiting lecturer at the university I study. It taught me a lot. Built better confidence, self-efficacy and professional grooming.

  • When Cortana or other virtual assistants get activated to only a particular voice.

  • Google voice typing as well. Also, facebook shows us our memories and recommend stuff based on our earlier likes and posts so it also uses past for learning

  • Google Translator detects the text written on products or anything in an image in any language and translates it to the desired language, also AI cams in mobile phones let you identify the objects in pictures, what are they where to buy them etc

  • Woo-hoo! all my answers on the quiz were correct :D

  • I'd definitely give that book a read, thanks for sharing

Read about it in cognitive psychology properly while I already been using and interacted with it for the first time on my phone. Never knew that virtual personal assistants are a blessing of AI though. Is virtual reality also somehow related?

  • Mahnoor Ali made a comment

I have taught the course of Cognitive Psychology for a while at University level. Although, the aligned course was not up-to-date I did some research and realized how important the concepts of Artificial Intelligence and modern tech are to the field. I did try to introduce my students with AI a bit while keeping track of the course outline but as I also lacked...

  • I'm very excited to learn it all specifically the tech behind AI and human-computer interaction impacts.

  • I enjoy being with students although I hate the professional politics in academic field (I'm not sure if that's just in my culture or in other countries as well.. come to think of it.. I should study about it as well and do something for betterment of our education system. That's what I'd like to do). I enjoy desk work on computer and love arts and design as...

  • I just filled the questionnaire, it showed me that I match to Inspirer profiles and the jobs I can do and I really liked the suggestions. Thanks!

  • Having studied at one of the most competent universities of Pakistan, I have groomed myself a lot in last four years and have developed many transferable skills such as teamwork, organization, leadership skills, analytical skills, communication skills, adaptability skills. However, one thing I still badly lack is creative thinking and problem-solving skills...

  • I haven't really had an opportunity yet to study abroad specifically in UK where the work on my study major i.e. psychology is pretty rich. I would love to gain exposure to that. After my divorce, I continued my education in Pakistan which was much of a challenge and the way divorced individuals are stigmatized in Pakistan, I feel it a must to leave the...
