  • Yes, I do believe that some food/drinks can be addictive. I used to drink lots of diet coke, 2, 3 or even 4 cans a day, and struggled to give it up. This went on for years and I used to really crave it. Last October I had the worst cold ever and lost my sense of taste for a few days, when it came back I drank some diet coke and didn't enjoy it. • I've enjoyed week one, thanks, and am looking forward to week two.

  • I'm a vegetarian too and sometimes wonder if I'm getting enough protein in my diet. I have some intolerance to lactose so can only manage a little dairy. I try to have plenty of beans and pulses along with seeds and nuts. I'm not a fan of eggs, but will eat them cooked in a dish if I can't taste them!

  • I'm very impressed with the online calculator!
