    Ageing is not considered a burden in Malta from my experience, even if the population is ageing at a fast rate. Ageing is considered and tackled at the policy level.   • I really appreciate your comment. I agree that we are all different and we also have various opportunities and barriers during our life course which affect the process of ageing. Some people don't have the chance to make positive life choices, while others might not be aware of the impact of their choices.
