Is ageing considered a burden where you live?
Ageing is not considered a burden in Malta from my experience, even if the population is ageing at a fast rate. Ageing is considered and tackled at the policy level. I have not seen ageism being expressed openly, maybe because, at the moment, racism and xenophobia are taking a front seat at the table.

I really appreciate your comment. I agree that we are all different and we also have various opportunities and barriers during our life course which affect the process of ageing. Some people don't have the chance to make positive life choices, while others might not be aware of the impact of their choices.
