  • I am a drama teacher and one thing i love about teaching besides making a substantial impact in people's lives, is the freedom it gives the next person from self expression, self esteem and hope for a brighter future. The connection you have with your students, knowing that you understand and value them allows them to be at their best, always.

  • how does a human brain function and what it feeds from besides senses.

  • It has widened quite immensely, my perspective on it in general. I now have a lot to think about.

I now think that being human in indeed determined by your environment, surroundings, upbringings, religion, education amongst other things. I should think our gender somehow make these thoughts and experiences differ. By being an African woman you are a human that is a woman or girl child before anything else and this alone determines your freedom, self...

  • Love your last question, thought provoking and mind blowing.

  • My thoughts exactly!

  • Me too

  • My passion lies in diversity and cultures, understanding what defines a human and their origin. We can further discuss political science, languages, history, film and media to what surrounds a human but how a human brain works and its attachment to emotions and expression is one thought provoking and mind blowing experience yet to be seen.

  • Have done fiction writing in 2020 during the start of Covid in South Africa, so much was happening at the time and could barely concentrate at times but it was a very insightful and informative.

  • Hi, I'm Sissy from South Africa, Johannesburg. I am an actress, playwright, producer, drama teacher and entrepreneur. Very excited to be part of this course and cannot wait to learn more and getting to understand other people's perspectives!

  • I have always wanted to know what it means to be human.

  • Gosh! I now realised I have always had spooky characters that are always screaming wanting to be written and another thing the method of fully understanding the character like Roffey was saying would help with minimising the characters going in directions you have no control over,it would help minimise those nasty surprises.

    I struggle with characters doing...

  • This has been very helpful, I have learnt way lot. I have learnt how to keep the story driven and yet still keep it interesting.

As a playwright I have always had a story but never knew really how to align it and the methods I have learnt has helped me beyond words, the description of characters and how to fully visualised everything to ensure that the...

  • Thank you Jodie Thomas for the review,I tried to make the man in question be the main character, the execution I was hoping it would direct a reader to know that the man, is the main character

But thank you immensely for your review it has taught me a lot, much appreciated

  • There are so many things that we could prevent regardless of what life events educate us in
Like the mirror of future and nearby events, which my character holds in his hand. Could this be an ace to play or he would rather go with his heart and desires and take another route that the mirror cannot portray due to confusion of him not following the truth that...

  • Wow, this was too much to take in, for me

    What if?
She had escaped from a troublesome son she resides with and has been directed to a clean shelter where she and her dog can be safer...she is sitting there wondering how everything will pan out and looking back at a life as a reflection of what it could have been. The pieces of her life if they would ever come together again as she had hoped, one might...

I am so in love with this!

  • Often ideas when thought of need to be jotter down, for that spark of creativity with a brilliant story or plot may come and go and the memories might fade with it but the journal won't

  • Worst place to write would be in a taxi rank surrounded by loud taxi drivers who can't keep quite and just when I get up to find peace I am chased by a bull dog that seems to be having his brains all over the place,I think his confusing me with someone else, either way I gat to run!

  • My productive time would be at night where there are distractions and I mean complete quietness except for the sound of the night breeze along with the night bugs buzzing...I write more when I can hear the sound of my own thoughts as it resonates with the words uttered from my lips going back and forth grasping every feeling, every emotion in the here and...

  • This has been an amazing journey, gracias

  • With every truth there is an element of fiction and with every fiction an element of the bare truth

  • They all tell different stories of how they became writers but yet they aren't so different. I have so many things I can relate to and some of it has made me pinpoint my own passion for writing. Being naked with the truth has the greatest elements of freedom

  • I have no eyes to see but I notice things and feel things,my eyes have failed me but not everything else. I am starting to breath

  • One fiction and three facts (50 to 100 words)

I know of an astronaut that loves writing, he'd write stories in the mist of all his trips,as he sways into the world of no gravity so does his words. Today I haven't seen him nor have I seen his daily scribbles, i am now seeking for an inspiration I'd assume he decided to stay up the skies where he can be a...
