  • The PHEV can be pluged-in to the grid/ external charger to charge its (bigger) battery, whereas the HEV has no plug (to be charged externally). That means PHEV have longer EV only range than HEV.

  • Thanks for these reflections. TUMI is promoting E-Mobility not as end in itself but as one element of a broader transformation towards more sustainable transport systems (incl. more walking, cycling, use of public transport).
    Also e-mobility offers a pathway of ending dependency on fossil fuels, which also cause environmental destruction and social burden...
