purpose of the product is to solve the user problem, so UCD is the must-have during the design process.

yeah, that is correct. Designers measure users satisfaction with the range of tools and methods. A very popular one is a SUS survey.

That can be achieved when the product solves the common problems for the users, or some product features have the hook mechanism build in

To achieve that, your app has to solve some users' problems, then they will come back and use it over and over.....

this is called usability testing - it is some part of the UX design. You carry on with usability testing in the second diamond UX process. Very common is to use an SUS survey :)
