We implemented inclusivity in House of Sampoerna Surabaya, Indonesia since 2007. We used technology such as: touch screen with narrative, voice over etc. to serve visitors with special needs. In term of collection, we facilitated various collection from private collection and museum or gallery collection to be exhibited in our museum or art gallery.

The Indonesian government set a policy on payable plastic bag use in stores and supermarkets shows a positive impact in several cities, which one of it is in Surabaya, the city where I live. The payable plastic bag now has been implemented since 2019 almost in all stores and supermarkets, that helps to reduce the plastic waste in drainage in Surabaya.

Indonesia's legal framework for business models is difficult to support the idea of social enterprise model, as explain in the report. Therefore, some corporates are doing hybrids, they have profit business and foundation as solution.

In Indonesia, the government more set rules and regulation, as well as leverage knowledge in education curriculum. I think if government encourage corporates through tax incentives, it would work better, but I am quite sceptic they will choose this option because tax is one of the main income in Indonesia.
