  • My interest in the Power Platform is borne out of my passion for business analytics (my new passion), especially in the Information Communication Technology sector.

This is the reason I am taking up this course

  • I want to improve my communication. I often experience thought blocks, which I would like to minimize and subsequently eradicate it

  • Ozone layer depletion

  • Exactly my thoughts

  • Really looking forward to strategic leadership in practical terms

  • I am still working on myself with respect to my response to change.

    My biggest challenge is comfort.

  • Apple: Apple has been intentional about how the market receives its product over the years. Whenever a product is to be released, customers always look forward to it and this because their expectation is always met.

  • Blackberry: Despite its earliest advanced mobile phone technologies, Blackberry failed in the area of innovation. They enjoyed quite a huge patronage between 2008 to 2014, but in the wake of 2016, things turned south for the company because they were not open to mobile market trend. Some of the things they missed out of are:

    1. Touchscreen keypad
    2. Lack...

  • I have always desired to lead with difference. And to achieve that, thinking strategically cannot be downplayed. It is pivotal to growing a team, building sustainable businesses and earning trust.

  • Anybody can think but just what they think about is what matters.

To prevail over circumstances, solve difficult problems with poise, be a step ahead of others in approach to problem-solving; strategic thinking offers a myriad of advantages.

  • Mine isn't necessarily a question but a comment.

This course is an eye opener on the subject of "Human Impact in the Natural Environment". Although it took me longer than anticipated to grasp, the time I spent going over the course again and again did not go to waste.

Now I have a solid background on Environmental Challenges. Other courses associated...

  • I do not think that non-human animals and other natural objects have legal rights similar to those given to humans.

The reasons are many but I will just point out few.

    1. Human beings are responsible for all forms of inventions we have in the world - from economic reform to technology, medicine to agro-allied discoveries, even down to the zoos and other...

  • Disputed items should normally be addressed when the environment is no longer tensed. At that point, people think rationally rather than emotionally. Therefore, in my opinion, a later date should be set aside to address disputed items.

  • I have attended both formal and informal meetings. In formal setting especially where some attendees are new, everyone is expected to maintain decorum until they start getting used to one another. Where as, in an informal setting, no much rules other than respect for other's people's opinion

  • Meetings thrive when:

    * Convener focuses on a one-sentence description of the meeting goal/objectives with a list of the topics to be covered.

    * Disputed items are not discussed in progress meeting.

  • Many thanks for the content of week 2

  • I worked in a company owned by people from another continent. Of a fact, these guys are very industrious and competent but are fond of treating colleagues from other regions disrespectfully. No matter how highly skilled you are, the best they can do is use you (your skill) to their advantage but treat your personality with disdain and scorn.

    It is rarely...

  • “Keep your language. Love its sounds, its modulation, its rhythm. But try to march together with men of different languages, remote from your own, who wish like you for a more just and human world.” ― Hélder Câmara

As much as you hold strong unapologetic personal views, remember that diversity and inclusion make the earth thrive

  • Even though it might not be difficult to challenge the stereotypes held by others, personally, I believe that changing their perception is usually not a walk in the park.

  • "If you want to hide something from a black man, write it in a book." This a stereotype that has transcended decades of misconception about the person of colour. Sadly, that perception hasn't changed in some climes even though it is no longer receiving the attention it once had.

  • Culture for me is any habit or approach to life that has been repeated over time to the extent that it forms the values and norms of an individual, group or organization

  • There is a particular country whose people are naturally disrespectful. Their work culture is very toxic. They lack empathy and are arrogant. I am not trying to generalize but most of the ones I have come in contact and worked with have these mannerisms.

Sadly, they're often the employers and supervisors

How do we keep up with them?

    I'd like for you...

  • Beautiful and easy-to-apply tips

  • Hello everyone

I am delighted to be a part of this course.

The importance of intercultural competence cannot be over-emphasized especially with the way work culture, inter-ethnic marriages as well as social media engagements have impacted our every day lives.

I believe that by the end of this program, I would be equipped with the necessary skills to...

  • The damage done to earth making it uninhabitable is enormous and needs urgent attention. From felling of trees to carbon II oxide emission, thereby depleting the ozone layer.

Humans have to come to the place of pure love for earth same way we love and protect our bodies from harm. That mindset alone is enough to cause a mental shift/reset. This is the only...

  • The rich/poor dichotomy everywhere in the world is wide. It's even more worrisome in Nigeria where I live. Hardship is extreme in most quarters, where as, few of the populace are swimming in abundance which infuriates the poor in such a manner that they take to some kind of violence for survival.

  • The video is an eye opener to the issue confronting human beings irrespective of nationalities or backgrounds.

We would rise. We would do more to influence policy makers by any means possible to ensure equity and justice across all aspects of the human life

  • The biggest challenge facing our world today are:

    1. Global warming
    2. Environmental pollution
    3. Youth restiveness
    4. Racism
    5. Poverty

  • Enrolling into this course offers me an opportunity I had long been looking forward to.

    Thank you

  • Unemployment is the new cancer and the bane of youth restiveness in most countries of the world particularly third world.

Policy makers have not done any better to come with ways of curbing this menace. While it has resulted into societal imbalance and serious crimes, there seems to be no hope or way of escape.

Let's come together as a community and...
