I'm Oyinbooke Olanrewaju from Nigeria. It's been my passion to train younger ones specifically, primary and secondary school students in my country on programming and Analytics. I believe this is possible but I've not been able to get something done about it hence, this course finds its relevance.

Designing a curriculum for blended learning was an added knowledge this week.
Also, understanding various digital assessment tools and their merits shows how trainers can be relieved of feedback workloads and many other benefits to the learners

Students sometimes feel shy to engage in classrooms discussion but are very active in online discussion forum.
Those who couldn't make a comment can still learn from others.
Finally, the discussion page is accessible all the time to go through other learners comments. -

Wow! I quite understand better the concept of flipped learning and its merits. It's really a proven way of increasing learning outcome.

As always, the questions do not only test our ability to identify and apply technological tools in assesment but also to know the advantages of each approach.

The idea of e-portfolio is a great one. You get easy access to past work while it is always difficult with a printed copy as it can get torn, lost, incomplete etc over time.

Curriculum design is one important aspect to achieve the objectives of a training.
Designing curriculum for blended learning activities will surely need a guide and case studies which the coming week promises to unveil. This will actually help me to conceptualise all the ideas running through my head.
Looking forward to this great week!

Building on the previous knowledge gained since the start of the course, I added a new knowledge seeing through case studies how I can actually incorporate blended learning tools.
Another thing I gained this week is Open Education Resources, I've never heard of it this way before. I'm more enlightened about it and I also see how I can in my own little way...

As prezi keeps reoccurring, I took a deeper thought on the possibilities of the tools and realised that it's more useful for me than ever thought of.
I can give an engaging and illustrative practical session class through its presentation feature as well as a trailer to last week or next week task. -

As an independent trainer, I do not have a platform for VLE yet. But I have witnessed several courses that implements it of which I believe FutureLearn uses to organise this course.
This course will make me more closer to having one (VLE) although, might not be immediately as everything takes process -
This feature - Practise quizzes such as multiple choice questions can offer instant feedback and scoring.
I mean, will really be of help. First, willmaje my learner evaluate themselves while no one watches them.
The data generated from VLE to monitor progress as well is a real valuable feature for Tutor to make use of.
I love all these features..

Very interesting and enlightened! In my country Nigeria, almost all our survey are carried out through questionnaire administration yet, there are a lot of biases in respondents' responses even after putting into consideration the ABC of survey design.

Very interesting fact. But not just about "what" is there a proof of the "how" empirically and theoretically? How valid is this? Nevertheless, correlation does not implies causation. So having a relationship between the two variables, does it suggest that one causes the other or what?
