  • Some great thoughts here. You may be interested in some of our activities to highlight diversity in Science careers. For younger students we have www.Science4everyone.org, we also have https://mystemmfuture.org/ which has a speaker series discussing lots of different careers.

  • If you are enjoying the course please do tweet about it and tag us in @engagewcs

  • Nicola you are right about this, there is a lot of discussion at the moment about the best ways to introduce these concepts without leading students down a route of genetic determinism.

  • Welcome to Week 2 everyone. I hope you are enjoying the course so far :) Please let us know if you have any questions.

We are looking to develop this with the use of simulations , videos and potentially live talks and q and A (online)? Would be interested in the hive minds thoughts on this and anyone interested in helping us developing this. email...

  • One of our priorities this year is developing an up-to-date career resource package. If anyone has ideas or thoughts on resources or content that would be useful please let us know.

  • Comments noted on the activity - we will review this. Thanks for letting us know.

  • @ThierryLints your resource sounds great, I will see if there is a way we can share this with the whole course. Tackling ethical issues is an area we hope to develop more resources on.
