  • This short course is only the tip of the iceberg. It sparks me couriosity about to apply in the real life exploring data using some tools or programming languages to discover things who aren't seen at first sight

  • Two events are triggered:

    1) when_mouse_enter this one is running when mouse pointer is inside area of textbox.
    2) when_mouse_leaves this is called after mouse pointer get out area of textbox (previously it needs to get in)

  • I tried it was balanced and grouping similar topics maybe i needed organized by sections well defined with colors or step by step, they are some ideas for the next iteration.

    Now I got this ->
    https://tsulogistica.blogspot.com/2020/11/ice-cream-creator-app.html

  • I use IDE Visual Studio Code just because support .net, python, go, kotlin, react, vue, and so on.

  • 1. a) b) d) GUI and c) CLI
    2. When you need scrapping info from the web, make a backup scheduling this task periodically, moving data between servers, sending massive emails, convert resizing a lot of images in a batch process.

  • Hey There, this is Jose Ramos from Mexico. I'm a developer since begining this millenium, so i've worked with Java and .net languages in web and desktop applications. I got 4 stars with python in HackerRank webpage also i'm not working with this language yet.

    Have a nice day folks!

  • Such a nice new way to build desktop apps

  • My knowledge about banking systems and working in corporate site is fresh in my mind, i remember a complete department Information Security garding all assets physical infrastructure and logical access with users to access to databases and systems.

  • Bad guys who are hired by criminals to hack systems and gain info or confidential documents with sensitive intellectual properties

  • Always it's good work into controlled environment and non destructive.

  • They don't seem like a hackers in movies, haha. It's interesting know how they work in day to day inside a security company following process and checklist to make audits.

  • It's good to know, but this knowledge is learned to be used only by own risk. And if we hacking non authorized systems we'll assume the legal consequences

  • You can't defend the indefensible, do people always show their own behaviors since own personal history. Ethics, principles, values are conditioned by environment where you live and family.

  • Jose Ramos made a comment

    Simply just because we need to know the origin of the attacks. Defense start answering the question about how to prevent attacks if don't know tools used by bad guys.

  • Would you mind share this reading cited?

  • I say Hello! from Mexico, so i'm a Senior Software Developer with a couple decades working in different companies. I've done some scripts to web scraping some static pages on internet by my own propourse. Is good to have this knowledge to be prepared to prevent future attacks.

  • Like a man, I feel empathy for women just because i got 7 sisters. To me feminism is equality, same rights, same opportunities. Its be respectful with women, their ideas and be change agent to change mindset about cultural or traditional thinkings about past ideas like Patriarchy in latinamerica countries.

  • Well right now we're living in a society more inclusive even following equality in both female and male thinking. We need a lot not distinction between genders.

  • When have you interacted with a chatbot? When i looking for info about a shool in its site
    Is there a chatbot you like? Why? No, know pretty few of them
    Is there a chatbot you dislike? Why? All of them because are not exact answer no specific answers
    How have you felt when interacting with a chatbot? Weird and angried because not response what i want
    How...

  • Well right now i installed last release from java "1.8.0_241" and this one uninstall automatically ALL previous releases on my computer (x86/32 bits and x64) with windows 10. And this release even configure PATH environment variable too

  • Well i hate describe myself so i'm software developer, 20 years working in different companies like banks, always living in Mexico. 44 years old. I don't programming mobile, and i'd like learn about it. I'm using hp laptop owned by my job, and MarioBros was the game that make a change from the past and the modern games just because was so addictive

  • Jose Ramos made a comment

    I'm new in python but i know another programming languages like Java, C# and C/C++

  • I'm not pro in python, but my four stars in hackerrank told me that i know some about this language.

  • Hey there
    I'm software engineer since 2000 year, and i like python just to personal interes so i'm professional using another programming languages like java and c#. say hello from Mexico!

  • I compiled all versions of code and got each apk file, so i'm using my own cell phone to test each one. Obviously you need save'em each one in a different folder v1, v2.. so on. Now I tested all of them. My phone is a Samsumg Galaxy J2 (Grand Prime+)

  • First one exercise it's simple assign new values X,Y from actionOnTouch to updateGame in values mBallX and mBallY without speed. So in second exercise I add an interesting feature what about if board game should be continuos I mean when ball reachs final screen's limits starts from oposite side.

  • I think debugger it's not necessary for people who is starting. It's useless here.

  • Jose Ramos made a comment

    It's weird my emulator doesn't support canvas and graphics, don't use Microsoft Android Emulator. On the other hand apk release v2 runs on mobile phone very well.

  • Some people is not custom to investigate issues. And they're not good enough in frustration tolerance.

  • The only one issue was on code and fixed it modifying build.gradle file

  • I have last release Android Studio 3.2 (October 2018)
    Windows 10 Pro x64
    Plugin Gradle 3.2.1
    Gradle 4.6

    So I had some issues to compile.
    Now it compiles like a champ!

    To be successful I was to change next file: build.gradle
    ////////////
    buildscript {
    repositories {
    google()
    jcenter()
    }
    dependencies {
    ...

  • To me it's more simple copy APK on my phone and install from any android file manager, quick and simple. Obviously you need to activate developer mode.

  • This is a good try, people just need more computing knowledge, and frustration tolerance.

  • Jose Ramos replied to [Learner left FutureLearn]

    Programming it's not easy you need a lot of patience,
    "frustration tolerance" it's my second name.

  • I recommend this emulator https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/vs/msft-android-emulator/ just because it's high backed up by a huge company like Microsoft and it is a 100% compatible with Windows 10. I like drag & drop APK files over the emu. You can download all android releases since jellybean to marshmallow with many resolutions and screen sizes. It needs be...

  • It's high recommended use a support for your mobile phone just because usb cable its too sensitive and some light move you can unplugged.

  • It's too late tomorrow i'll continue here.

  • In win10 its not necesary anymore because now microsoft has a better emulators.

  • Works like a champ!

  • Piece of cake! I'm working with Win7 x64. Windows key + Pause key Open "System" window quickly to configure environment variables.

  • It's amazing i'm a developer senior but i didn't have Java installed in my PC.

  • Don't be afraid to share your doubts. We're ready to solve'em or wide'em

  • Any programming language needs rules like real languajes their are grammatical and lexical parsers well-known like compilers. This software allow convert your code, I mean, programs in high level language in machine code or low level code, this translation its needed to create executables.

    Arrival (i didn't see it, yet)
    First 4 sheets tell me much about plot of the history, even the phrase "There are days that define your story beyond your life". It's a mother (main character) Louise who tells us briefly her life experience to the loss of a loved one, her pain and suffer and how that change her life one day to another. Catch me suddenly for...

    I read before Alien script first saw the movie after that picked the script and all the situation happen in the movie was described in the script.

  • Screenplay writers are underrated, so all credit is for filmaker.

    Hitchcock is my favorite filmaker but their screenplay writers are unknown.

    These are a three phrases from films:

    "Keep your friends close but your enemies closer." Godfather.
    "you're sittin' on a winnin' lottery ticket. And you're too much of a pussy to cash it in" Will Hunting.

    Very nice team all of them proficient teachers.

  • Jose Ramos made a comment

    This year I took a screenplay course so I learned a point of view, I'm here to learn another one.

  • All of them are necessesary because in any short film you gonna use them maybe not all just more commons, but sooner or later you gonna use one of the less commons.

  • No mencion about how combine them and some examples in this case.

  • I think it's pretty similar both of them the only difference is you have flesh and bones actors and in the other hand you have an animators team who's in charge drawing all the posings of characters and trying to reflect their emotions. But the only difference is than animation is a long time process may be 2, 3 or 4 (even more) times more than real actors...

  • I remember a couple cartoons that was made using Flash

    Happy Tree Friends
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tdvxp5R4Wao

    Huevo Cartoon (Made in Mexico)

    First at all Kris made a good job to find this incredible history about this pilot woman less known in the history flight planes, after that she created a excellent screenplay.
