  • Thank you very much for sharing and giving lots of useful lessons on week one.

  • I think interpersonal communication skills is one of the skills I have most. When I worked for TBI (The British Institute) Jakarta, I dealt with customers and expatriates teachers.

  • How to make the key skills come perfectly out as I mention on my CV?

  • Sometimes we have some skills, but we do not perceive them. How to present the skills we have most and best on our CV?

  • It's a very good course. I can share the information about this course with my higher education students. They will have well prepared before they have been interviewed so that they are successful.

  • I am interested in this statement : “Entrepreneurship is when you act upon opportunities and ideas and transform them into value for others. The value that is created can be financial, cultural, or social.” Related to how action oriented thinking works, I think cultural value is the most difficult to be created. Eventually, I think that entrepreneur just...

  • I think most of universities have included entrepreneurship as one of their obliged subjects that their students must take. I live in Indonesia, and the higher institutions or universities in Indonesia need to fulfill the national educational system or regulation, based on research and higher educational ministry in which entrepreneurship must be applied to...

  • Hi, I am Mimi, from Indonesia. I am interested in taking this course because it is needed for enhancing and manifesting the goal of our educational system in which each higher student must have entrepreneurship skills before they graduated from university. By taking this course, hopefully I can implement this lesson to my students so that they will be...

  • I do not have experience, but I know little about entrepreneurship

  • Hello, I am Mimi. This course is interesting, since we now live in the digital era where we can do many activities through internet, especially doing our business on selling things online. By joining this course, I am expecting to have more skills of how to encourage our students to have souls of entrepreneurship, and how to make my students also love doing...

  • By knowing which is hard and easy in learning second language, it can make me more deeply learn by practicing the matters, for example when we use certain tenses correctly and when we use words correctly based on the context.

  • As a human being, we are granted to have great potency to mention names of things, and it is not granted to other creatures like animals and plants. By having this understanding, I positively think that learning a second language is easy. It is not merely about names of things, but it is also learning about the concept of things.

  • I think most difficult aspect in learning a second language is grammatical functions. For example rule for using words which for male or female..., and when use tenses in correct time.

  • I think the bottleneck hypothesis experienced by all people who learn a second language. I, myself, have got the process of it. It was very painful process. I still remember the first time I got mark 2 for English quiz, it was how to use past tense correctly. Finally I learn grammar not from my teacher, but I learn from story books for children and lyrics...

  • In an English Language school canteen in Jakarta. A student sitting and having breakfast gave a greeting to her teacher, Mr. Mark who has just come and passed in front of her.

Student: Good morning, Mr. Mark. I am having breakfast before joining your class.

Mr. Mark : Good morning, Conny. What have you got?

Student: Do you like mie, Mr. Mark? ...

  • Meaning means everything in learning a second language. Long time ago, what my teacher meant, sometimes it was different to what I meant. For example, my teacher gave me a task to write 3 paragraphs with this topic : How the English Learning Process was. In my perception, she asked students to write 3 paragraphs related to how we learnt English in the past....

  • I think our ability to learn a language depends on our intention and motivation, not a genetic. Language is used for expressing our needs to interact with others. Sometimes people think it is genetic because of their parents ability in using a language. If their parents are good at using language, It would be automatically generated to their children. I...

  • I use a language as social function, since we need other people to live. By communicating with others, we can survive. At first, I use Javanese language as my mother tongue. My mother taught me how to say 1, 2, 3, until 5 in Javanese Language. I said it was taught because my mother did not only teach me the symbol, but she also taught the concept. Then when...

  • We use language for communicate with others. Sometimes we use it in written or spoken. We also use language for reading and listening information we need. To master the language we need tools which can support the communication process, either in language function or structures. I think our needs, intention and motivation are the factors which can help us...

  • Hi Mohamed Baiod, I agree with your statement, but we are asked to choose and give the reason the most we agree, based on the 7(seven) statements given. :)

  • In my opinion, the most important and difficult thing we need to have is the ability in analyzing questions and issues clearly and precisely. We must learn and be able to "read" and find problems, and express them in the form of writing. Without finding problems, our writing will not have a spirit. In academic writing, we are forced to answer the problem we...

    For now, I say YES....

Honestly, I have never taken IELTS test before, because I need to take an...

  • Muslims were ordered to believe the other books of Allah, besides The Holy Qur'an, but it does not mean that a Muslim follow them. Muslims were ordered to read, study, follow, and implement the content of the Holy Qur'an.

  • I think a Muslim must believe the other Books of Allah besides Al-Qur'an. The Holy Qur'an was revealed through The Prophet Muhammad SAW in order to perfect Him in behavior. That's why a Muslim does not only believe the Qur'an but also study and implement it in her/his daily life. What mentioned in The Qur'an is the Real Behavior of The Prophet Muhammad SAW.

  • I think the basic belief of Islam is SHAHADA (confession of a Muslim), "La ilaha illallah, Muhammad-ur Rasul-Allah that means: None has the right to be worshiped but Allah, and Muhammad SAW is the Messenger of Allah. It is not easy to implement this confession in life as Muslim. With heart a Muslim testifies that The Creator of everything in this universe is...

  • I think it is the same as other religions to teach a value. Every religion has the same lessons to teach its followers to do good deeds. Specializing in sociological and anthropological methods, it reminds me of a reading article titled “Modern Fathers Have Pleasures and Problems ”. It tells why a father is called “Modern Father”. Modern Fathers balance...

  • I mostly write when i am sad or when I get problems that I think no one can't help to solve. Without feeling shy, I can express all my problems and what I am feeling and thinking. Now, It is time for me trying to start writing at any situation, either sad or happy.

  • Most of them started their writing because of being influenced by their family background, histories and experiences of their lives, and their talents. People around them also support them to develop their passion of writing.

  • After noticing the video and your explanation, I realized that taking notes is very fruitful in starting to write a fiction.

  • Many ideas that i can get from the video. Mostly, it tells about the unique appearance and activities of people in public areas. It also tells about the conventional device (small notebook) and modern digital device the people use.

  • Situation in public places is the source of ideas that I can jot down on my notebooks. From these places, I often get something facts and then I develop them into fictions.

  • Terminologically, I have no difficulty in distinguishing fact and fiction. However when applied in writing, they are very difficult to be separated. How to mix them to become a good paragraph?

  • The same date and the same month, 10 years ago, they celebrated their graduation from Jakarta 70 State Senior High School. It was not a nice or cozy cafe they chose to celebrate, but they prefer to go hiking. Semeru, the highest mountain was their destination. On the way hiking, they saw many stunning views and they had challenging footpaths.

  • Okay, I have read what we need do before starting to write. A nice starter.
