It all sounds so simple. So then, why isn't it all that simple?

Why do so many people seem to feel it is up to "somebody" to diagnose and then to correct these unfortunate problems. The school, the government, society, the teacher, the TA....

Preservation of the battlefields is a tribute to the fallen ones, no matter what the conflict. A tribute to the futility of war that has been carried on for way too long. The value of reenactments bolsters that thought and is a great act of theater and entertainment.

Quite enlightening so far. I have had vague ideas of what I thought ADHD was and how it presented itself. Live, learn and keep on moving on.

Questioning if there is a difference between or can there be an accompanying inattention or overattention. Can't be disturbed or listen to more than one thing at a time. Thoughts?

Pin balling seems a reasonable way of looking at it. Inability to concentrate and follow through on tasks without distraction. Easily sidetracked.

It must have been a powerful presentation and it seems as if she felt that they had a deep connection and he was speaking directly to her. Curious to see if any other attendees were moved in similar ways.

Popular because people felt that they were IN charge of themselves. Unpopular because it was different...a breakaway from the expected norms.

A moving visual. The coming together in community. The outcasts of established and organized ligbased from Israel. Outcasts or newcasts.

The placing of a price point did rise considerably. It just seems that there were attempts to commercialize and profit from the existence of a fantastic work of artistic endeavor as well as the meaning of the words to so many believers in the world.

Being originally from Philadelphia, I would have to cite the Declaration of Independence. A bold statement at a time of great uncertainty. We again are at a time of uncertainty and hope that we can maintain our fine relationships with so many countries and people of the world.

Nice background for a beginning course, good mix of info and learning. Enjoying the course and the difficulties I have are pronunciation and the lack of ability in recognizing the spoken word. In a past life I learned keyboard shortcuts for fada that I wish I could remember.

There are problems to overcome. My grandmother's official birth certificate that I ordered shows her birth name as Annie. All other sources I've come across show her as Catherine or Katherine.

Hello to all,
My "research" has been going on for a few years now. Hoping to be able to refine techniques and stop reacting as a pin ball. This year I have been in contact with second cousins in Ireland that I never knew existed. I have renewed hope after hitting so many stone walls along the way. Looking forward to it all! -
I'm with you!

Pres. Obama went to Japan. Did not accept responsibility for the bombing during WWII , nor apologize for the use. He paid respect for the loss of lives.

Surprised by the thinking that comp should be paid but no responsibility taken by current leaders. I thought it would have gone the opposite. No money, however, we are sincerely sorry that the events took place.

There was no Gulf of Tonkin incident, nor a Pearl Harbor in the Ireland of the early 20th century. Seemingly there were turning points every year between 1912 and 1922
