  • Thanks a lot to every one and thanks for the effort provided in this course.

  • thank you.

  • If one my friends wants to prepare for IELTS test to study in University in English. First of all, I will advise him to practice writing words every day do memories how to spell them and to know their meaning as well, Then build a strong grammar by reading a lot of books, news papers, articles, magazines, then i will ask him to listen carefully to English...

  • Thanks a lot, the course gave me a push to learn more and know on what I need to focus. first, improve my grammar to use most common words in simple language, then be careful to my writing and spellings, and finally practising for a good fluent speaking.

  • Reading and try to memorise as much as I can of words with its meaning.

  • Great. Thanks.

  • don't be shy when you speak, we all learned from our mistakes.

  • I believe that English became my official third language after it was fourth, but I still need to work more hard to build my grammar because sometimes I don't never ever find the right word to use on my speaking or writing. Even sometimes on listening I don't really understand some words. It is true that it's enough to understand the main idea but I like to...

  • Nice advises, thanks.

  • Very interesting.

  • Brilliant, it's good to know this information. thanks.

  • That's very important and serious. Thanks.

  • Thank you very much, this was very useful.

  • First, thank you very much for the assistance you are giving to us Gad, it is very important to prepare our knowledge and vocabulary well to expect any kind of tasks are waiting for us on IELTS test or to be ready to speak English in many situations,

  • Listening is a good part of learning English, it helps know the right pronunciation and word sound. It helps as well to push the learner to start making a conversations to discuss what he is listening to. I happy to introduce to my dear friends a British Council web site: http://learnenglishteens.britishcouncil.org/skills/listening-skills-practice

  • Good.

  • Thanks

  • The difficult types of listening task I find difficult depend to what level of English is used and what subject it's about, an example of that, if two Doctors are discussion a medical problem definitely I won't understand every thing, or two mathematician are discussion as well a math problem of course as well I won't understand every thing. Any way, I will...

  • It is a bit tricky, listening carefully is needed in this task. Fist of all, to choose the right two real benefits of online social networking I needed to hear the what the speaker is sure of. for example, I heard her saying '' now, what we do have clear evidence for'' and '' without questions''. The other benefits, the speaker said that it is not confirmed...

  • A great task, I really enjoyed it. I needed to listen carefully to all the proposed solutions provided by the police officer to prevent the areas effected by crime.

  • The task was easy, the English spoken was very clear and slow which gave me a big opportunity to understand very well the phone conversation. I think the best way to approach this type of task is listen carefully and understand what they are talking about in general to have the main idea, then listen carefully again to the part the question is about.

  • I think listening is more easy in some situation that an other. In my opinion, listening news on TV is more easy to understand rather than listening for example to a comedy show, because an official English is used on news, on the other hand an public English is used on a comedy show which is harder to understand. However, this not a reason to say that we...

  • YYYEeeeaaaahhh

  • me too

  • Understanding what you are listening in English means you have a good skills in.

  • I was reading an article from evening standard dated January, 18th 2017, it was about Richard Godwin opinion about that politics had reached such a state of abstraction that it seems many had forgotten it has real consequences. First of all, he started by his conversation with a Uber driver in his sixties supporting Donald Trump who turned to a USA president...

  • Reading is a good step to learn English, first, it develops how the words, pronounces them and shows exactly how to write them. in fact, reading is the main source of knowledge, doesn't matter what article or subject is available, book or magazine, surfing on internet or even reading news papers, it matters how much is the process of learning and memorising...

  • It is the best idea to try remembering ten words every day and use them in sentences or even on our daily speaking.

  • This is a good opportunity me to share with my learners friends a very important website has a reading comprehension with tasks to do, I hope every one will enjoy it:
    http://www.myenglishpages.com/site_php_files/reading.php

  • Thanks.

  • Actually, for me reading text first time quick is not a problem, but the next step of reading deeply is the hardest one. First of think, I need to know the meaning of the words i don't know, then understand the idea of each sentence, them match between them to know the main idea of each paragraph. however, learning English has to be in details not only...

  • This text given is hard to understand, at least it needed a bit of knowledge about history, ecosystem, Pleistocene time. It is a good subject to analyse and know a thesis reasons of the megafauna's extinct. However, I think the food chain is the main reason of the extincting of some animals.

  • first of all, you need to read each paragraph carefully and understand the idea, then you have to mach it with a heading provided on the list. Actually you have to be accurate to choose the right heading to the right paragraph. In my try, i missed just the first paragraph.

  • The sample text is carefully selected, i liked its content, yeah I have a goo score as well.
    Thanks.

  • I believe that reading in different situations is different. First of all, if I need information about a particular type of phone, I need to read just about this phone information in a technology magazine I found, in fact that I read simple and quick just to know the phone general specifics. an example of that, I read about speed, quality of material, camera,...

  • Reading English is very important, but the more important is to understand the content and learn how to write like those authors.

  • A fair examination, thanks.

  • Mrs Kyoungae did very well, her English is fluent, she succeed to answer the questions using a perfect skills, she knew how to link between her ideas.

  • Thank you for the advices.

  • Please help me with your feedback. Thanks.

  • Speaking English is more smooth than writing, when I speak English I use the most common words to introduce my idea where on the side of writing I have to be careful on what I am going to write, is it a letter? is it an article? etc, and of course I have to choose the right words as well. In my opinion, writing is more official this why I need to be careful on...

  • Yes I agree with Mr Gad, in University a high level of English has to be used for academic reasons, but in our daily life it doesn't matter because we live in multi national society most of us doesn't speak English perfect.

  • I am 33 years old, I have been in English conversations many times and to be honest I was very bad on the beginning, I was making too many mistakes on pronunciation, vocabulary, finding the right words and how to transfer my ideas, however I just didn't give up from talking, I was learning from my mistakes. For example, I learned the past simple of some verbs,...

  • The examiner did a great job and he detailed every good and bad she did on the test. He encouraged her to work more to improve her English and that what everyone of us needs, a push to learn more. Thank you Examiner.

  • I think Mrs Misato was strangling to find the right words to use them on speaking and that explains her stuttering. Again she found a deficulty on linking between the ideas. She needs a lot of practice and to do that she needs to read books or start a conversations with her friends in English to rich her brain with words, ideas and vocabulary.

  • Mrs Misato spoke about many hobbies in time she was asked just to speak about one. She found a deficulty to link between her ideas. She was using the verbs in present which is wrong to talk about something in the past. She spoke as well about other thinks out of the subject.

  • I think Mrs Misato as an English learner is doing very good but she needs to be more confident, she tried to answer the questions using her capacity, however she did some vocabulary mistakes and a poor source of English words to support her ideas I think that was because the stress of the speaking test hhhh. I like her English any way. Bravo.

  • I am so excited for the next steps.

  • It looks very important.

  • Speaking English very well means make a proper sentences using a most common English words with a correct grammar and vocabulary. It is as well using a simple way of discution to convey your idea to the others.

  • Thanks, the examiner comments are very detailed and has a lot of information.

  • Great job, nice writing.

  • This video means a lot for me, thank you very much.

  • Thank you very much.

  • We have a graph shows the amount in grams per person of potatoes, past and rice eaten in a European country between 1976 and 2006.
In 1976, the amount in grams of potatoes was slightly over 400g which is higher than pasta(250g) and rice(300g). then the amount of potatoes went up to 450g till 1986 it went back to 400g, then after that the amount countinued to...

  • Often, in this life every one thinks about success, we think that success is easy in fact it's not. Most of us need a job first, then think about a good plan for the future. it is true that success comes step by step but every step has enough of stress and pressure, an example of that is if someone plans to buy a house he has to work hard to save some money,...

  • To improve my IELTS writing and my Academic writing I have to understand exactly what it is asked to do, select the right genres of writing, chose the right words, punctuation, use good and correct ideas.

I would like to get better on all of genres of writing.

    THanks.

  • Great advice and steps to follow. Thanks

  • The student response was very good, and the examiner comments was detailed and very helpful as well.

  • This is a great work, Thanks

  • Studying abroad is most likely by many students over the world because they like to have the top degree from an widely known university as Oxford University, Cambridge University, and studying abroad is not only learning, it's a big exchange of experience and cultures with others coming from over seas as well.
When students decide to go abroad to have the...

  • We have a chart shows the number of men and women in further full-time or part-time education in Britain in three periods:
1970-1971: A part-time education for men reached 1 million compared to under 800K women doing the same part-time education, and we can observe the big deference between how many are studying part-time and who are studying full-time. for...

  • hello all, the most difficult about IELTS Writing test is sometimes what right words we need to chose and how to spell them and to do so an do the right choice, we need to keep reading newspapers, books, magazines etc... The most think i use is Microsoft Word which has a correction system or I go online to use Google Translation to find the right word and have...
