  • It is such a great insight about biosecurity

  • Hey, I am a medical entomologist from Uganda, based in Nigeria. I am researching in a medical diagnostic laboratory. I would like to take this course to get more information in biosecurity and precautionary measures (biosafety).

  • The fact is, most people take up some projects when they are not practically trained to handle them but instead when the just have an idea of what needs to be done. In such cases, scoping becomes difficult as it may require a lot consultations which is always limited by time.

  • Every project comes with its own challenges but its about choosing the right team/leadership, taking responsibility, having passion, understanding the objectives and undertaking the necessary training that will see the project succeed.

  • It was generally successful politically
    But according to project planning, it was unsuccessful. It reached 3 times its original budget constraining the tax payers, it faced a lot technical glitches, data traffic and delayed to deliver the insurance on time (deliverable) which might have disappointed the consumers in the first case.

  • The scope of HealthCare.gov:
    It was to establish and operate FFE in all states

    Timing:
    Signed into law on March 23, 2010
    It was expected to begin October 1, 2013
    But initial contract was awarded on September 31, 2011 and also delayed by lot of bureaucracy in court

    Functional need:
    It was to facilitate and link consumers with affordable insurance...
