  • Well, I have an account in all of these platforms but mostly I use Instagram and Facebook but after I watched the last video i will use twitter and LinkedIn equally with others.

  • For me It depends about the first impression and the type of meetings and activities I will have , I'm still a little bit far in these things that's why I take courses to develop my skills, I'm trying to do my best to be suitable for the next.

  • Well, for me networking it's really important in workplace especially when you are new in the place to develop your skills and share your ideas with people who has experience that you'll need in next days.

  • Hello everybody,
I'm Mohamed from Algeria; I study in the second year( mechanical Engineering) at university, I'm interested in courses like this and I hope to develop my knowledge with you.

  • First, read a lot because when you read you get more vocabulary that's help you write comfortably, second practice more by writing academic essays and learn from sites like this, third, use your time accurately and be focused.

  • Well, I think before taking exam you should practice more by writing essays, learning and practicing from sites like this by the way thanks to mentors and educators, know what you should do before taking exams( criteria, limited time...), second while you're taking the exam just be focused and concentrated( read the question, paraphrase the introduction, write...

  • Well, for me I didn't take exams like that before but for what I learned with you that seemed a little bit difficult, even though I feel have a good level in English but when I take exams that have marking criteria and limited time I became confused and unfocused but I will practice more until I become ready.

  • For me, I think you need to read different kinds of books(literature, science, IT, physics ...) because you don't know which type of text you'll given, also while you are reading just skim the questions and be concentrated .

  • Well, In reading you don't have to understand everything the important that you understand the meaning, also you don't have to use dictionary every time because you will be bored just start from the books that suit your level, then step by step your vocabulary will widen, you will make a progress in your level after that automatically you will read books that...

  • Well, the main thing to improve your writing is to read a lot and practice writing similar topics (formal or informal) to task 1 and task 2, find your weaknesses in writing ( coherence or cohesion, lexical resource, grammatical range and accuracy) and try to improve them .

  • Rob mentioned the things that you have to do it when you are in the exam but my advice before taking the exam like I wrote in the previous steps ( speaking, listening) that you should prepare well by taking similar topics ( task 1 or task 2) to these and write about them until you find yourself ready to get the criteria that they asked you for.

  • well, I agree with Russian man that writing depends about the topic that you will write about, how much vocabulary you have (know) about the topic and for the other things it's easy and I don't have problems.

  • Well, the three pieces of advice that I've learned are : first, practise and listen more before taking the exam especially to the podcast, documentaries and lectures, second, be conctrated to what you hear or listen carefully while you're taking the exam, third, write your answers carefully and don't be confused .

  • Rob mentioned almost everything when you're taking a test but the important before taking it that you have to practise(listen more and be conctrated to improve your weaknesses and become ready for the exam.

  • What should I do to be concetrated and get more information from the speaker?

  • Well, listening for me is the most difficult part in English especially when I listen from audio like one of the student said, also when I'm not concentrated I stay listen but I get nothing so this my problem in listening and I'm doing my best to make it easy and normal.

  • first, listening, second finding someone you can practice with him/her, third practice makes you perfect.

  • For me the first and last advice I'd like to share with you is just be yourself and don't fake your speaking nature.

  • For me the first and the important quality you find it a friend is honest like keeping secrets and not cheating or humbling, second helping and motivating each other, having same interests and mentality, the last one love and respect.

  • I'd like to talk about two topics that i found them easy for me, first a meal I remembered it's simply rice with vegetables and yogurt, I like this meal and I eat a lot sometimes twice a day especially when I go to the gym, the second one is a film I've seen which left a impression on me is The scarface by Al Pacino in 1983, I really admire this film and the...

  • I'm still a student at university and I like my field (Mechanical Engineering), I hope to do my job in my field that I studied because that what will make like and do my job for a long time, i still live in my town I've just changed my house for a better place, also many things changed in my town since I grew one of them many people came to live in my town and...

  • For me I'm OK with pronunciation lexical resources but I'm little confused in grammatical ranges and coherence but I'm practicing every day to improve it ASAP.

  • First , I took this course to improve my English in general and know where am I, second, to prepare for taking IELTS in the future, also one of reasons that's push me to take IElTS is traveling and studying abroad .

  • For me when I studied in high school I was little nervous in exams , but When I went to university everything changed I become calm and relaxed when I take exams , if I've prepared before I do what I learn , if I didn't I let it empty and l go home .
