    I believe that we are all humanist at heart, society and other outer factors has effect our beliefs toward this subject. All of us deserve the same basic needs of proper education, good health care system and clean water. I hope this course will guide me more about this subject I’m really excited.

  • I actually do believe that whatever you eat can have a major effect on your mind and mood. I have noticed some changes when consuming green tea and dark chocolate as it played a good role in changing my mood as well as decreased my anxiety level along with a good physical workout.

  • I live in Kuwait. Our traditional food is a mixture of herbs and spices, we use a lot of [turmeric, black pepper, sumac and garlic] almost every meal must contain one of these super food. And we have a famous tomato sauce that is basically just fresh tomatoes with herbs and water that we use with rice. Along with fresh fish as my country is on the sea side...

  • Larisa, food do effect hormones in certain ways, try searching for (intermittent fasting) as it do wonders to balance hormones.

    Hello, My name is Reem. Getting a higher degree required an IELTS score 6 or above and i am hoping that this test will help me achieve that score.

  • Hello everyone, I am Reem, i have joined this course to develop my English skills in order to be a good lecturer in the future.

  • Interesting exercise, first time knowing about my PLN map and it showed me how I am spending my time and in which areas I focus more.

  • A collaboration of all the 4 techniques would be effective, Social Constructivism in my opinion would work for someone with an extraversion skills, the effect of the methods may vary upon individuals skills

  • I think old is a state of mind, if you believe that you are old, then ull act upon that belief. Age is just a number, i believe that it’s not fair to minimize the ability of individuals just by the number of their age.

  • I learned to let go of things that I have a strong resistance for, also I added the pain meditation part to my daily routine I actually listen to the audio at night while trying to sleep, noticed that I fall a sleep faster and have a very calm night

  • This course highlighted my relationships, gave me awareness of how to deal with others in a mindfulness way, one of the things that I tried the past two weeks is to pause before responding, and to try not to jump into conclusions, now I try to listen and understand before giving any feedback.

  • I have noticed that since I began this course I have automatically kept focusing on the good things around me

  • I would like to share my social media detox results
    First of all I had a 5 days social media detox, I muted all the applications and only used the telephone button, I was only able to call and receive calls.
    The result:
    More self time
    More aware of nature
    My mind got so clear
    Better sleep
    And I felt somehow sense of relief

  • Right on point, rehearsing is what I do when I’m having a conversation, I realized that if I ask questions or concentrate more with practice and awareness, can actually achieve mindfulness communication

  • I used to have some panic attacks due to stress and some other issues, meditation has made me realize that i can control my thoughts and to be aware that i can shift my thoughts into positive thinking. It took me almost 3 years to deal with panic attacks and i am glad to say that i dont get these panic attacks any more.
    Meditation and self awareness is the key

  • Before watching the videos or reading about mindfulness, I thought that the real meaning of mindfulness is to have a restful mind, now I became aware that mindfulness is actually connecting deep with your soul and it’s all about acceptance.
    It is about the way you react to things in a wise way.

  • I can relate to your story, helping others is amazing but I always tend to ignore or forget about what I feel and I am on the process of self awareness to manage having a balanced wellbeing life
