  • @HelenH Yes, it is easier and faster than one can think about, if one could stop thinking.
    Meditate on the meditator.
When the mind stops, that's the end of time.

  • Neuroscience and arts are one, however, it can't be more delusional to judge arts from a very limited neuro scientific perspective. Just imagine this:
A brain scan can show brain activity during a external stimulus such as a meaningful picture, so, how a certain lit up portion of the brain can compare with the actual feelings the subject feels watching that...

  • @BronwenClacherty Love for art is love for life. Love for life is love for the creation, unconditional. ❤️

  • @DevikaJayasekara One day you might even realise the Self ♥️

  • My heart opened during a deep meditation, in a test, literally, after 8 years of depression and anxiety. Fear has been fully dissolved at the exact point in time, I, died too, some time later, as if time and space would exist :) These words come from direct and intuitive experience, and doesn't refer to the pump heart but to the heart as the seat of...

  • Truth can not be found through though, as truth it is that out of which though arise.

  • The phisical heart is just a pump while the spiritual heart is situated in the center of our phisical chest and it is indeed the seat of love for life. This statement is purely intuitive intellectually, and directly experienced.

  • Reality is not many things coming together to form a whole but is a whole expressing in many ways, life, in a beautiful play.

  • @BesmaRomdhani To your questions, are as many answers as perspectives are. Only you will find the true answers.

  • What a beautiful bunch of people :)

  • It looks like the sistem as a whole is beginning a self-humanising process, healthcare being the best starting point of expansion.

  • @LouiseHowitt ♥️ Prehaps the fact that you are taking this course, in factual reality, the sistem (healthcare) it is humanising right now.

  • This introduction triggers in the mind words such as cohesion or coherence :)

  • @MargretGreco ♥️ 'The descriptor' is pure, only reveals itself to itself. It is the foundation of every thing but is not a thing, it is the unmanifest as well as the manifest. It is you, and if you would undeniably know it, questions would stop arising. ♥️

  • @JazzM Good one Jazz :) Putting all these new technologies (such as blockchain technology and AI ) to work in favour of life it could be the only way forward for a accelerated regeneration of the natural world.
But, are humans ready for renunciation of science fiction mumble jumble in favor of factual reality?

  • Let's not get ourselves fooled by forecasts, almost always, and especially in this case, are unknown (or secretly known) factors messing up this fictional forecast.
Either way, the sustainable ways are the only ways :)

  • 'The second green revolution' and 'a sustainable intensification of farming' seems to be good concepts from this perspective, but awareness brings to the surface what is actually happening in the factual reality.

Prehaps the ignored global desertification pockets that happened already by unsustainable agricultural practices such as detrimental to life...

  • @MargretGreco The buddha once said to imagine someone is trying to show you the moon by pointing at it. The pointing finger is what guides you to the moon. Without the finger, you might not notice the moon.

  • @JanMole Exactly Jan, the whole foundation of this artificially created society is dodgy, builded on sand, and that's great news. One thing is sure, it is not created for the benefit of all (natural world out of which humans are part of) but for the few, globally, (devide and conquer) hence making a mess is the norm nowadays. Now, however, in the 21st century,...

  • @MeikeRe Indeed, mindfulness is being aware of what's really going on in the outer world, and through meditation the inner world gradually unveils itself, colourful and full of life as the outer :) Nobody can describe in truth what is, but it can undeniably be known.

  • @ChristineConnor Yes, the ego is the tyrant over the mind and implicitly the body.
Since the realisation that ego (the false self) has been melted away, the mind (body-mind), very often has bursts of joy, laughter, ecstasy, from within, is celebrating freedom and sends waves throughout the body, lighting up every single cell, literally.
    That's direct...

  • I don't debate anything. Is just a pointer, if it doesn't resonates, there's a reason, and it doesn't matter, ke keep on searching what resonates :)

  • Levels of consciousness as mapped by Dr. David R Hawkins MD PHD, that's just to be used as a reference.
Yes, it seems, is the Self, taking to its Self, pretending one is Marian and other is called Jan. It looks like this language in itself is a gate, it looks coded indeed my friend. As many sacred books are, talking in this world about another one in a...

  • Right now, this course is perfect as it is, a pointer, really explicit, an introduction into different cultural perspectives, mindfulness and meditation.
Perhaps, as a suggestion, the science of non duality could be investigated Chris, and, the direct path, or yoga meditations as presented by Rupert Spira could be included or mentioned in this course.

  • All these bright minds studying this course, are here to use intelect constructively. This course, presents to us different perspectives, taking the mind to its limits, and whatever resonates tells one's *level of consciousness, (*see David R Hawkins MD PHD) and perhaps opening limitless possibilities. Trully doesn't matter where one is right now, it is...

  • Thank you very much indeed for this course, it is invaluable for humanity.
As we all know by now, all truly valuable things are free, as no amount of money can buy the truth. Donations means gratitude.

  • Do you feel mindful?

There's ignorance prehaps, at first, and then mindfulness leading to gradually expanding awareness, ultimately being aware of being aware.

  • Mindfully move, any kind of mindful doing really, or even being mindfully of what is happening in the present moment is a discipline in itself, an art, the art of being the master of your own mind, and implicitly, of your own destiny indeed.

  • @JanDeurwaarder
There are different levels of 'understanding' , such as, self centred egoistic view, hence a distorted reality is perceived by the false self, then, inquisitive or scientific investigative perspective, critical thinking, being less rigid but still thinking dualistic, (subject object) resulting in a distorted understanding of reality, and the...

  • @JanMole
    No.
But one has the potential to be happy and free in any conditions, as long as it realises, it is not the body, neither the mind or its feelings. To my direct knowledge, meditation, always is unveiling from within, the truth, years or decades later. Don't believe it, google it...

  • @JanDeurwaarder Indeed Jan, go further, beyond a permanent state of non duality, your feeling of 'connected to everything' is the absolute truth, gently unveiling itself, to itself, untill all borders will collapse. How, then would the mind describe the undeniable knowing of being limitless?
My dear friend, you are not in this world, but this world is in you.

  • Last 15 minutes, listening to this podcast while keeping the body and mind still, brought a very deep meditative state, prehaps as deep as Rupert Spira's yoga meditation on YouTube. So, the mindfulness teacher's skills matters as much as the student's openness, and letting go skills.

  • Thank you team, for this course.
Such information is invaluable, and humanity changing, literally.

  • Well, for us, as a family, the search for 3-5 hectares of land at the base of the mountain for a food forest started already. That's a heck of a garden :)

  • Wherever you are, your reality is.
You can't ever go anywhere, reality comes to you.

  • What are the benefits to practicing mindfulness in a forest?

    Reconnection with Our True Nature.

  • When you practice ‘mindfulness of the elements’, what does it feel like to be you?

As there is no me, just the elements.

  • Grounding, walking bare feet in nature, or even laying down on the beach, is going back to the beginning, before rubber soles (isolation from earth) were invented. Of course shoes must be worn, at times :)
As the body-mind and the earth are one, when spending time in nature, what's not benefitting from this mindful reconnection, at all levels?

  • You know what Jan, he's still not happy, still wanting more. So having, will never beat being joyful, content, happy exactly as you are :)

  • @JanDeurwaarder Brilliant observation, here's a perspective, colored glasses are one's 'conditioning' made out of : our nature (genetics) and nurture (the environment we develop in). Our conditioning is still lingering even after full Self realisation.

'Isn't "ego mind" the only mind we have?

    No.
One can see the ego as an entity that gets hold of the...

  • Let's not forget, we are nature. Never separate, in fact we are fully dependent of the natural world. Being in nature is being what you already are, pure being.

  • We, humans, belong to the land, the land belongs to no one.

  • @JanDeurwaarder And also the statement was refering to Maria's comment: 'I’m beginning to think I should step outside my cosy meditation space to stand at the barricades'

  • @JanDeurwaarder Yes it is dangerous if seen from an egoistic limited point of view, or as you referring to the self centred egoistic minds that create suffering for self and others due to delusional beliefs, that's obviously not for the greater good of all indeed. But not just that, look around the world, what egocentric delusional sistems, or individuals,...

  • Marian Oprea made a comment

The safety of the sitting quietly meditation place is critical at first, as it allows a total letting go of the body-mind and explore what lies beyond.
The human body is hardwired for survival, naturally in a negative thinking mode, ready to activate fight or flight response in a flash, so a feeling of security matters most prehaps.
    In other cases the...

  • @MariaGrigg What one feels is the right thing to do for the greater good, can't be doubted by anyone. Expert meditators, for example, go in large groups in places and literally change the world, one place at the time. They also scientifically measure the effects on that particular community. That's what those people feel they need doing. If that's nonsense for...

  • Marian Oprea made a comment

Any place, any time is perfect to be mindfully, shining bright, fully aware of what is. That, as if the time and space would exist :)

  • When people are ready to mindfully evolve, expand their consciousness, when they had enough suffering, they will, at their own pace, in their own way do it, and nothing can stop them, nothing at all.
In the meantime they might judge, so as much one cares for other people, or care what they say, shouldn't mind what they think about this, that, or the other, it...

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but being genuinely mindful of your environment is the act of maturing your own wisdom :)

  • Dropping all concepts, or opinions, who, or why one would reject being happy and free?

  • Politics is, prehaps what people had enough of, or not, but some innately feel the need of searching for the truth, critically, for themselves in the outer world as well as in the inner. Nothing wrong with politics though, as everything has its role in this play of life.

  • Buddha's raft parable is epic :-)

  • @GeraldineB l didn't asume, or judged anything, just generally replied to your mention: 'Each topic in itself would need a course to explore the points being made' The mind can't grasp what is talked about in this course, make an ideea yes, but that's it. Hence, practice beats any theory, my dear friend, that was the comment on, but again, no judgement to...

  • That clears the misconceptions about guides from beyond. Prehaps, after all, a guide is not necessary a kind of a separate being, but your own being acting as a guide.

  • Or, you can practice Geraldine, and it will reveal itself very subtlety. No theory can explain what is revealed through Self enquiry.

  • You simply expand Doug, transcending your own limits, and limitations. You freely float through the expanded space you've regained, now. Take it all, is all yours, the space...

  • How does it feel to know, and have been traveled, at least superficially, through several dimensions of the mind now? The mind though, can only take it as further as its collapse. Then the true journey begins :-)

  • Marian Oprea made a comment

The whole course is wisdom. All eternal, all inclusive, ready to be absorbed by one's openness.

  • :-)

  • Who am I to tell you different :-)

  • :-)

  • I know, but that's the clue.

  • The trouble started in the very beginning Doug, with the so called big bang :) You got to rewind all of it to get it :) or not, as it is happening right now, right here.

  • Perfect David, that's the point. No one ever completed the puzzle, but dissappeard right at the end, and only the puzzle was left :)

  • That's precisely why Perry, to come out of dillusion, many ways are sugested in the above video. Nothing worth more than being what you already are, beyond the mask.

  • Marian Oprea made a comment

This is epic :) Well done to those who made it so far, is because you are loved back ❤️

  • There is only pure action Maxine, no doer, no purpose, no time, no space. Understanding is a tool, is the mind, to be transcended, only then is seen why.

  • It doesn't matter what it is, whether is a feeling or a concept in the mind, the above still apply. What could matter though, is to drop it all, transcend all nonsense, all mind constructs, and those concepts too. True Self is not reserved for intelectuals, but for all, to be. The more you think you know, the opposite is true :)

  • @DavidHuddlestone And what are these yellow flags made out of? Where are they taking form from? Who is it that the yellow flags appear to? Answers are for your Self, once found.

  • Once your mind is open, what's the limit Maryam? What is it that can stop you? Not even your mind can do that for long. The more you think is hard to sit quietly (meditate) , the further you are from the truth. Be gentle, take as long as it takes, time doesn't actually exist, and, you have no clue of your true powers, but you are just about to find out Maryam...

    Zen

Don't you see, budism is another priceless finger pointing to the moon. Looking mesmerised at the finger, is not as seeing the moon.

  • Who's thinking about murder? Or theft? Investigate that who, find out who robbed you of your peace. Peace :)

  • So complex it seems when described in words, meditation, in actuality it is the simplest thing because you don't need to do anything, eventually. When doing stops, being starts :)

  • Playing in the illusion, with the dillusion, eventually brings clarity. We live in a artificially created society, with rules and regulations, almost all egocentric, but you talk about broadening your horizon Christine, and that's the way out of the dillusion. Accept it all but don't attach to anything at all, transcend it.

  • Fear, hope, disconnection, belong to the linear thinking mind.

  • Perhaps because all that is, is interconnectedness. Nothing should be rejected or left out, acceptance and letting go are mind's best buddies :)

  • Nothing is linear, but the mind.

  • Perhaps we do what humans do best, messing it up, or not :)

  • Of course is not easy, nothing is easy when one (or more) lucks coherence.

  • Marian Oprea made a comment

It doesn't matter where you practise mindfulness or meditation, as long as you are safe and comfortable. You need no more exploring the outer but the inner world. However, in the outer also lies the truth, bare but unseen by most.

  • Funny thing is that you've done enough already, you wouldn't know it, you've suffered your fare share, and more, of others. No more doings, is sugested here, no more stories that never end repeating, you've done enough already, stop doing. Now start being what you already are.

  • Yes, is not you, the mind is yours, your slave not your master.

  • Yes indeed Maxine, the thief has been caught, is the same thief that robbed you always of your freedom, peace and joy. Now you know it, it can't hide any longer, it is your time to take back all that has been taken away from you. Follow it when you spot it, focus as a laser beam on it, let it take you to the place it took your most beloved treasures. Take back...

  • Wandering mind does one thing only : it never lets you just be, it wants you to do. That's what is called the tyranny of our own egoistic minds. We are after all human beings not human doings :)

  • In experience, when one's mindful, or meditating, the fact that the mind wanders is actually observed as a contraction of the mind, or a limitation of consciousness, the opposite is just being as you already are, expansion, peace, experiencing full consciousness, complete relaxation, fully awake, fully aware of your true nature, physical brain is fully lit up,...

  • Have you yet considered self individuation Maxine? I mean by that, to create a distance between yourself and collective consciousness or so called human condition, is a kind of full stop, step back from society/cut the cords of mass media and social network for example, and work on your self mindfully. By being selfish for the greater good you are actually...

  • Well done Jessica, you are a very brave soul, and exactly where you supposed to be. Keep loving your Self, yeah?

  • 0 Something must be right then :)

  • Gavin, if only you could, even for a second see clearly your true nature, undeniably you will understand yourself exactly what it means when someone else tells you thay you are a eternal being. You can't ever die, you are the life that supports your body-mind with its bundle of complexity, and that, which projects this reality that seems to be so real. Love,...

  • Great job poking, exploring, and unveiling mind qualities or shortcomings from different angles :)

  • Truth only reveals itself to itself. Truth is pure, absolute. Theory can never describe the truth, attempts will distort it, it will transform it into dillusion, but instead, can be known clearly and undeniable, is everywhere, all the time. At best, any attempt can only conceptualise it.

  • The mind will do anything to justify its permanent usefulness :)

  • Mindfulness has nothing to do with anything in particular but with all as a whole.

  • Only open minded people would be curious and actually complete such course. Openness, acceptance, critical thinking, individuation, mindfulness, inquisitive mind, self exploration, self realisation, love, life supporting, big words for bright shining minds :)

  • You would be surprised to know, in truth, is natural to transcend the egoistic mind and become the boss of your own mind instead of being the slave.
How rigid one is, indicates how distant true lasting happiness is from her/him. However, wherever one is right now is perfect, it is the perfect place and time to start most epic of all adventures.

  • Here you are indeed Sydney.

  • Mindfulness Maryam, helps one live its life to the fullest, out of ignorance and sorrow.

  • In truth, I am not. In words, is just pure being, life, awareness, consciousness, nothingness, our true nature, or, you can call this words nonsense, who am I to mind :)
Why here, now, well... we'll see.

  • The more you practise meditation, the more you will love it, until one day, when spontaneously out of nothing both, the illusion and delusion will vanish. All will be left is your true Self.

  • In practical terms mindfulness is the luck of ignorance my friend. Is seeing life for what it is, without dillusion.
