  • Thank you very much indeed for this suggestion. We've incorporated your recommendation into the text so that future learners can benefit from it too.

  • @TavisReddick very many thanks!

  • @TavisReddick, many thanks for your comment on our course. We would love to include a couple of excerpts from it as a testimonial on the course description page. May we have your permission to do this?

  • Our apologies, this is an old version of the content that is now in the PDF. I hope you can access that OK? I will delete the plain text link now.

  • @AnhNguyen - thank you for mentioning this. Questions 6-10 ask "what is a language" and the scores go from 1 (definitely not a language) to 10 (definitely a language).
Questions 11-30 ask "who is bilingual" and the scores go from 1 (definitely monolingual) to 10 (definitely bilingual).

  • @RosaliaDiNisio @domenicas Thank you very much for alerting us to this. We think we have fixed it. Would you mind trying again (scroll down and check the 'submit' button is green before you fill it out to avoid wasting your time)? Please don't hesitate to say if you experience further issues.

Sorry about the difficulties with the quiz everyone. We have changed it so that you identify the parts of speech for the words in italics. I hope it's clear now but do let me know if there are any further difficulties.

  • I think gardening must be a good example

  • Really interesting ideas.

  • I'd be interested to understand the term 'more than human' too. That description you found Hamish is quite confusing!

  • Thank you for pointing this out and apologies for any confusion caused! They should be in the right order again now.

  • Thank you for pointing this out, the link has been fixed.
