Hi, am a medical student in Makerere University College of Health Sciences, Uganda. In our setting, opioids are prescribed to patients on palliation. My major reason for joining this course is to better understand how to optimize pain control in such patients.

Hi, what I know about epilepsy is pretty much basic. As it is a neurological disorder characterised by abnormal discharge of electrical impulses in the brain. The kind of seizures associated with it could generalised, focal or absent seizures.

There is a possibility of meeting resistance from the ward staff as they may assume you will be reporting them. How to over come - Explaining to them the idea behind the Survey.

Probably a policy that every patient on surgical Ward has to be on antibiotics. However am inclined to have the same thought as Andrea.

In our setting, infection prevention team play a central role in antibiotic stewardship as they keep us informed on the trend of microbes in our working environment and the associated resistance to antibiotics.
