    Hello,
I am a Senior Lecturer in Spanish in the UK. For the last two years I have also been working with the Academic Practice section of the university, which allowed me to open up my horizons from just researching about learning and teaching foreign languages to learning and teaching in general in Higher Education.

  • I would say yes to both. Parents need to be setting some rules for their children's engagement with technology, and if they are no experts, they need help and training to know how is affecting their children's development. It is true that diagnosed students in some countries can have extra time in examinations. However, how do you pace an adequate learning rhythm in university time constrained...

  • I could not focus on what I was reading, I was just trying to copy. I felt anxious, especially because, unlike some of you, I did not think of writing a key. It was only after the second line I remembered the symbol for "i". And after all that, I do not think anybody would be able to decipher what I wrote. Very revealing task.

  • I was not aware of the extent to which dyslexia affects social relationships. I did not know either that it involves a short attention span.

Hello, I'm Nuria and I teach Spanish at a university in London. I have some students with dyslexia, and I would like to learn more about it and be able to help my students in better ways.
