  • Hi, I work in communications in the UK,.or rather I normally do but I am on maternity leave and don't want AI to have passed me by while I am not working.

  • I hope to understand how I can use and apply AI to make half decent copy quickly, so that I might concentrate on enhancing it, rather than getting from a to b.

  • I want to understand what fits under the umbrella of 'content design' and then how to expand my skills.

  • I'm a communications manager within a central government department and I used to work as an editor some years ago. I am a writer first and foremost, though.

  • Its already got an interested audience who are going to plug it for you regardless of whether its any good

  • Well the main thing I remember about this campaign was the video, and there was some media attention around the beautification of a black woman taking off her skin and 'becoming' a white woman, and I remember some discussion about whether they did this naively or on purpose to generate media interest. Either way, that's the thing that I remember so in one...

  • As part of our shared services (HR, finance), or rather on top of it, we're starting to add in services around robotics and automation along the lines of 'we're doing this to help you in our core business, could we help you in yours?'

  • I haven't heard of the latter 2 and so I'll guess they are marketed to business or to elsewhere in the globe. I didn't realise Siemans and Bosch I have a feeling Bosch is aimed at a cheaper consumer (I think I had a Bosch washing machine) and Siemans I think it is a little 'higher class'. So Aimed at different income levels. But ultimately, they're doing multi...

  • Really interesting, very targeted. I can see the benefit of this and lifts up the professionalism level (corporate) from consumer comms. I especially like award wins and speaking at industry conferences.

  • This needs a transcription, the audio doesn't work on my computer/network (the videos don't either but they all have transcriptions). Thanks

  • Its a good one too, because Netflix has aimed for and attracted a younger audience who actually never had to bother going down to Blockbusters. But as they get older, they will keep and extend their market segment. I'm not sure whether it was the first streaming service, I have a feeling it might have been Prime, but its targeted its audience differently so...

  • I didn't think about income. Hmm.

  • People who have a property with a garden. As its a digital product, people who have a smartphone. Someone who is interested in health, design, plants/flowers or eco friendliness (growing own). Then I suppose there are other factors, like segments who are looking for a quick answer on stuff because gardening's newish to them and they don't have time (e.g. young...

  • I hadn't thought about it like that. Thanks for pointing that out.

  • Definitely production. The marketing orientation looks more like what our senior leaders want, but what we deliver is production.

  • I've moved banks and my bad experience is the difference between the impression the bank is trying to make (digitally enabled, global) and the reality (have to go down to a branch to do certain things). Good experiences tend to me, digital enablement. I have another new bank (just for savings) and I was able to set up and move money within 10 minutes. Nice...

  • They have different USPs and market directly towards the market segment. Nestle go for wide appeal and must be cheap with a wide low cost distribution network to support this. Hotel Chocolat go for highend and charge appropriately high prices to meet those expectations, and choose retailers with similar market segments.

  • I think it makes easier for large organisations to market to individuals. For example, an insurance company can target younger people on social media using an arm of the organisation specifically using certain types of graphics/language. Banks too, like the difference between Halifax and First Direct. If they break down their markets (which they can because...
