Inspire a love of science, technology, engineering and maths in young people

Many volunteers may struggle to engage young people with exciting activities in STEM subjects. However, with advice from STEM Ambassador Hubs, volunteers and educators, this program of short, flexible courses will support you in engaging and inspiring children and young people in STEM.

You will learn how to plan and carry out effective STEM activities, exploring: diversity, communicating with young people and using feedback to improve your activity and performance. Ultimately, these courses aim to equip you with the skills and confidence to inspire young people in STEM subjects and careers.

To get an award you will need to upgrade all courses on this program, then qualify for a Certificate of Achievement on each course. To qualify you need to do at least 90% of each course and score an average of 70% or above on any tests.

Once you have qualified for a Certificate of Achievement on every course you will receive a FutureLearn Award.

This program will require 8 weeks of learning and cost a total of $176.
