Next week we’ll be looking at how lifestyle factors can contribute to depression, and how we can help teenagers adopt healthier habits. Amongst other things we’ll be focusing on sleep, and how this can play an important role in influencing mood.

To prepare for Week 2, we recommend you record what your sleeping looks like in this sleep diary. Don’t worry if you aren’t able to fill it in every day and complete all sections. We won’t be asking you to share any personal information and will have examples of completed sleep diaries to share next week.

Thank you for your contributions this week and we look forward to seeing you next time.

You can start Week 2 now if you want to continue straight away.

As a research and clinical team, we’re always striving to understand the experiences of young people with depression and of the people who are supporting them. We regularly carry out research at the University of Reading to help us develop better services and treatments for young people with mental health difficulties. If you’d like to share your experiences and be part of some of our research studies we would love to hear from you. Visit our website AnDY Research Clinic to get in touch.
