On this three-week course designed by ABRSM, you’ll learn how to use Classroom 200 and how it could benefit your music teaching.
Gain a comprehensive introduction to Classroom 200
In Week 1 of the course, you’ll cover the basics of using Classroom 200.
You’ll learn to navigate the resource, utilise its features, use its lesson plans, and incorporate its activities into your teaching.
Explore the importance of developing core music skills in the classroom
Classroom 200 is designed to foster children’s core music skills: listening, performing, improvising, composing, and singing.
You’ll understand the importance of building these skills at an early age, and how Classroom 200 could help you do so.
Join a global network of music teachers using Classroom 200
On this online course, you’ll connect with a global network of classroom music teachers.
You’ll have the opportunity to share teaching practices and reflect critically on how to improve music provision in primary and secondary education.

In this activity we will unpack what the core musical skills are and how they can be developed.

Now that we have identified the core musical skills that make up music learning, let's take a look at what 'getting better' at these skills looks and sounds like.

Singing Skills
Singing Skills in action
Our voice is an essential part of teaching, but do we really take care of it? In this activity we'll explore how to do this effectively.
