  • Identify aminoglycosides, their mechanism of action, spectrum of activity and the differences between them
  • Apply knowledge of dosing and therapeutic drug monitoring of aminoglycosides
  • Identify clinical conditions where aminoglycosides are used
  • Describe the use of aminoglycosides in special patient groups, with regards to the impact of different clinical conditions on aminoglycoside pharmacokinetics
  • Summarise resistance mechanisms of bacteria and antimicrobial resistance to aminoglycosides
