Optical Fish Tracking in Fishways Using Neural Networks

We have introduced the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method before. This paper shows a computer vision system based on Artificial Neural Networks has been designed for automatic analysis of fishways models. In the progress, the diagram shows how they track fish position with the ANN system. With these data, it can provide useful information to help to design more effective vertical slot fishways.
