We will tell you a secret about how Chinese cure their cold.

That is “to drink more water or 姜(jiāng)汤(tāng), then go to bed, get your cover and have a sweaty sleep”.
姜(jiāng)汤(tāng) is soup made with ginger. In traditional Chinese medicine, ginger has a function of dispelling coldness out of our body.
When we suffer from biting wind or rain, 姜(jiāng)汤(tāng) can make us feel better if we feel cold and have a running nose. But if our symptom is not like these, it is not helpful.
