Introduction

Introduction to week 2.

This week, we will work with a case study of a young girl, Nandini, who has respiratory symptoms. Does she have asthma or another respiratory condition?

In this second week we plan to:

  • Explore the presenting symptoms and the process of an asthma diagnosis
  • Demonstrate the use of diagnostic tools such as peak flow
  • Examine the process of asthma management, including self-management and asthma action plans.
  • Conduct an asthma review and consider alternative diagnosis such as rhinitis
