This step will cover the ability and need to monitor storage capacity on Power platform.

Your capacity varies with your level of subscription, with the ability to expand storage as needed or to clean out unnecessary data to free up space.

You can manage your organisation’s data storage capacity in connection with your subscription to Dynamics 365. The type of subscription you purchase determines the amount of storage initially allocated to your organisation. If you run out of storage, you can add more.

You can also gain storage by deleting certain types of unnecessary data in Customer Engagement apps.

Monitoring Storage

Monitor your Dynamics 365 storage to make sure you’ve got lots of capacity for growth.

If your total storage used is 80% or more of capacity, Dynamics 365 admins will receive email notifications, and alerts will appear on the Service Health page.
