Demonstration: Integrated Apps

.In this step, we are going to be shown some greater details of the integrations shown in the previous step.

In the previous step, we were given a brief overview of a few integrations which Dynamics 365 can have with the Microsoft product family.

In this step, we are going to be shown some greater details of these integrations.

Email App for Outlook

The Dynamics 365 Email App for Outlook allows users to access contact records on the Common Data Service (CDS) directly from within Outlook.

OneNote Integration

This integration allows users to access and create OneNote notes specifically tied to a Dynamics 365 record directly from the record within the Dynamics 365 platform.

Click-to-Call using Skype for Business

For organisations using Skype for Business, this allows their users to call numbers associated with a record directly from the Dynamics 365 platform, and track the details of the interaction with a handy pop-up form

SharePoint Integration

When viewing a record on the Dynamics 365 platform, the user can click on the ‘Related’ button and select ‘Documents’, to view & access any files associated with the record on the associated SharePoint

Office 365 Groups

Office 365 Groups allows for Office 365 users who are not Dynamics 365 users to still collaborate on or view salient information from records, such as calendars and email conversations

What current integration tools are you using? Do you have an ‘all-in-one’ solution, or do you and your team have to use a combination of tools that do not directly integrate? What workarounds have you created for these scenarios?
