Congratulations! You have reached the end of Week 1. In this week, you learned more about malware and its characteristics. You also learned more about various types of Malware, such as viruses, worms, trojans, and ransomware.

Next week, we will explore further: we will look at adware, spyware, and file-less malware, before considering the evolution of malware. Most malware today is hybrid malware — that means that it consists of one or more types of malware that you have considered to date.
