You will notice that this course uses terminology that not everybody may be comfortable using.

This includes:

  • Abnormality
  • Mental illness
  • Disorder

These are used by clinical experts (APA 2013) when talking about mental health conditions and are in no way intended to imply any disrespect towards individuals living with them.

We are keen for this course to be a supportive and inclusive community, where all participants are valued.
