This brings us to the end of the first week of this short course.

This week, we have discussed:

  • The impact of the fourth industrial revolution and its consequences on the economy
  • The digital economy and why businesses should develop their capabilities in this area
  • The key differences between traditional and digital businesses
  • Three contemporary issues that affect digital business and e-commerce

Next week, we are going to discuss e-commerce in more detail, particularly the different classifications of e-commerce. We’ll also discuss the drivers of digital and e-commerce, and the benefits and challenges for businesses.
