Wrapping up the week

.
This week we have learned about some of the basics of drone use, why organisations use drones, as well as about the regulations for operating drones in the UK.

It is important to note that regulations change often so you should keep across this issue. Also, there often additional rules about using drones created by organisations other than the CAA. For our purposes, the key thing is you have an enough of an understanding of the regulations so you can ask the right questions of people who want to use drones in your workplace.

Next week we’ll be look at:

*Batteries – an essential understanding for when drones are operating in your workplace. *Human Factors – what factors go into making sure operators are fit to use drones? *UAS knowledge of operations and procedures – factors that need to be considered in operating drones in an organisation.
